The state of California requires sexual harassment training for all supervisory employees. Studies estimate one in four women will experience sexual harassment on the job. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that even if an employer is unaware of sexual harassment taking place the employer’s liability remains. All companies that don’t train their managers on sexual harassment are subject to lawsuits and other liabilities. You will learn how to define, recognize and prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. While it may be impossible to completely prevent harassment and discrimination claims and lawsuits, this course can help minimize potential workplace conflicts and complaints before they arise which will help reduce your company’s liability exposure.
