Job Title: Jobsite Auditor
Job Description:
- Drive to 5 construction jobsites per day in the San Diego area and perform audits
- Proactively assist in the reduction of accidents by recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations
- Compile audit reports, analyze and report data
- Prepare and present safety training and distribute educational materials
- Respond to injuries, hazards or other emergencies
- Attend safety committee and foreman meetings
- Perform new employee safety orientations
- Assist in conducting incident investigations
- Follow up on corrective actions identified in jobsite inspections or incident investigations
Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following:
- Internally motivated, self-starting style
- Analytical problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Good organizational, computer and communication skills
- Prior construction or safety experience and/or a certificate or degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within construction field

Job Description:

- 5 years prior construction safety experience
- Certificate or degree in occupational safety or related field
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within construction field
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or similar Science a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA General Industry and Construction Standards a plus
- Internally motivated, self-starting style
- Analytical problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Good organization and computer skills
- Good communication and public speaking skills both impromptu and prepared
